Prayers for Greta

We are on our way to the third ER tonight. Greta jumped off the swing and landed on her elbow creating a fracture near her elbow that is complicated. Anyway, they are sending us to Children's now to operate tonight most likely and we are currently waiting for the ferry. More later, but just wanted your prayers for her. She is doing great and very tough! She is amazing and happy that it is her right arm-she is a lefty!! Thanks to my mom and Tracie for making it flow smoothly this evening!

Praying for you. Not fun to have to catch a ferry to get to the ER ... but Children's is the BEST. (We had a child airlifted there by helicopter.)

Well a happy mother's day to you, Kristin! Sounds like your children will keep the day eventful and full of excitement. Sorry to hear about Greta...though at least it's a classic story of a childhood injury. She'll use this one at camp some day as she tells her best scar story.

Joyfully,
Becca

Thanks for the prayers. It has been a long night. We got an hour of sleep at 6 this am, but the procedure they tried w/o operating didn't work, so now we are waiting for the docs on rounds to let us know if/when they will operate today. Greta is so hungry and hasn't eaten since 2PM yesterday. They keep having her wait b/c of the possiblility of surgery. I feel so bad for her.
